Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the SOL-Led Learning™ app and website (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Sol-Led Learning LLC, a United States company ("we", "us"). When you use the Service you are contracting with Sol-Led Learning LLC.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Learners never hold accounts; a parent or caregiver uses the Service on their behalf.

3. What the Service is

SOL-Led Learning is an educational framework and planning tool for parents and homeschooling families. It includes a Learning Access Profile, action plans, a resource library and Ask SOL, an AI-powered assistant.

It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, clinical or legal advice, and it does not diagnose, screen for or treat any condition. You know your learner best. Stop any strategy that causes distress, consult qualified professionals about health, development or safety, and call 911 in an emergency.

4. Ask SOL and AI-generated content

  • Ask SOL answers are generated by AI from SOL-Led materials and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check them against your own judgment before acting.
  • You are responsible for what you enter and how you use the answers. Do not enter learners' real names, diagnoses, birth dates or records.
  • You must not use Ask SOL to create illegal, harmful, hateful or deceptive content, or try to bypass its safeguards.
  • We may filter or refuse outputs, and remove content or restrict accounts that misuse the feature.

5. Your account

Keep your sign-in details confidential and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including: using it unlawfully; fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; uploading malware, probing or interfering with security, or scraping; reverse engineering; or reselling or redistributing the Service or its materials.

7. Intellectual property

Sol-Led Learning LLC owns the Service and all its content, software, documentation and branding, including SOL-Led Learning™, Soul-Led Leadership™ and SOL-Led Life™. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and download materials for your own family's use under your plan. You keep ownership of what you enter, and grant us a limited license to store and process it only to provide the Service.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Premium is offered at $33 per month or $350 per year (USD), plus any applicable tax, and renews automatically until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel at any time from the Premium page in the app; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. See our Refund Policy.

9. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any outcome will result from using it.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may delete your account at any time by emailing us. When access ends, we delete or anonymise your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of data or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Sol-Led Learning LLC against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia, and disputes will be resolved in the courts there. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may update these Terms and will post the new date above.
